Getting to the Sydney Expo: Directions & Transport
By Public Transport
Light Rail
The Light Rail L1 line has a stop at Wentworth Park. This line goes between Central Station and Dulwich Hill.
From Central Station L1 stop, there are 9 stops to Wentworth Park, which is the stop immediately after the Fish Market. Get off at Wentworth Park, and the walk is about 450 metres.
- Exit via Wattle Street.
- Head southwest toward Wattle Street.
- Turn Left onto Wattle Street.
- Turn right - destination will be on the left.
- Walk through the car park.
- The entrance to the exhibition is on Wentworth Park Road, so walk in front of the grandstand through the seated area.
Bus
Some people may be coming on a bus travelling along Parramatta Road and Broadway. You will need to check which is the best stop to get off, so you can walk to the venue.
By Taxi or Uber
It is best to direct the driver to Wentworth Park Sporting Venue at Wentworth Park Road.
By Car
Please note that parking is considerably more difficult on weekdays, than on weekends.
The venue has a carpark. The entrance is off Wattle Street, which is a multilane road with traffic travelling one way. Get in the left lane, and the entrance is after William Henry Street. There are about 60 car parking spaces.
- Weekdays: Parking fee is $4 per hour or $20 per day. Many tenants have access to these parking spaces.
- Weekends: Parking is free. The regular tenants will not be there.
If the venue car park is full, you will need to find parking elsewhere:
- On weekdays, another parking station in the area may be required.
- On weekends, there should be plenty of street parking within a 5 to 10-minute walk.
For more details on parking at the venue, visit the Wentworth Park parking page.
